Moderated for positivity

Supporter spaces on BirdieBackers are moderated and positive-only by design. This policy explains what that means for golfers and supporters.

1. Who this applies to

This policy governs all content posted on BirdieBackers by golfers and supporters, including posts, comments, group hangout conduct, and supporter group chats.

2. What golfers post

Golfers retain ownership of the content they post — practice clips, travel updates, tournament recaps, welcome and birthday videos, and anything else shared to fulfill their tier's deliverables. Posting that content grants BirdieBackers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display it to that golfer's subscribed supporters.

Content should be genuinely the golfer's own work and reasonably represent their actual season — we don't require polish, but we do require honesty.

3. Positive-only supporter spaces

Comments, group hangouts, and supporter chats are moderated for positivity. Golfers should be able to post after a rough round without being met with harassment, trolling, or bad-faith criticism.

Content or comments that are harassing, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or that dox or threaten another user will be removed, and repeat violators will be suspended or removed from the platform.

4. Prohibited content

The following are not allowed anywhere on the platform: unlawful content, harassment or bullying, hate speech, spam or unsolicited advertising unrelated to the golfer's own season, impersonation of another person, and content that infringes someone else's intellectual property.

5. Enforcement

We review reported content and may remove posts or comments, suspend accounts, or terminate golfer profiles that violate this policy. Removal of golfer content that was required as a tier deliverable does not exempt the golfer from that month's deliverable commitment — see our Refund Policy for how missed deliverables are handled.

6. Reporting a concern

If you see content that violates this policy, use the report link on the post or comment, or submit a report through our Report a Concern page. We aim to review reports within 2 business days.
