Refund Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

The short version

A subscription pays for content and access, not a prediction of a golfer's results. If a golfer misses deliverables, their payout is held, not lost — and you're refunded for any period that stays uncured for 60 days.

1. What a subscription pays for

Each tier — Birdie ($10/mo), Eagle ($25/mo), Captain ($50/mo) — comes with a fixed set of content deliverables the golfer commits to every month. Your subscription is billed in exchange for those deliverables, not as a donation and not as a prediction of tournament results.

2. Standard cancellations

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your supporter dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds for partial months you already had access to.

3. When a golfer misses deliverables

Each month, a golfer marks their deliverables complete and an admin verifies before that month's payout releases to them. If a golfer misses a month, their payout for that period is held — not paid out, and not lost.

If the golfer catches up on the missed content, the held payout releases normally and no refund is issued. If the miss stays uncured for 60 days, every supporter subscribed to that golfer during the affected period is refunded for that period.

4. What isn't covered

Refunds under this policy apply only to periods where deliverables were not completed and stayed uncured for 60 days. They do not apply to a golfer's tournament performance, ranking, or career outcome — nothing about a subscription is tied to competitive results. Platform and payment-processing fees already collected are not separately refunded.

5. How refunds are issued

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Books reconcile weekly, so refund determinations are made on that same weekly cycle.

6. Disputes

If you believe a refund was calculated incorrectly, contact us through our contact page or email support@birdiebackers.com and we'll review the golfer's deliverable history for the period in question.
