What is BirdieBackers?
BirdieBackers is a marketplace connecting golf supporters with rising golfers. Supporters pay a fixed monthly subscription in exchange for content and access the golfer commits to deliver.
Is this available internationally?
Yes. Supporters can join from anywhere in the world. Golfers on the platform currently compete primarily on US-based developmental tours (Korn Ferry, Forme Tour, Epson Tour, PGA Tour Americas) and college golf.
Is this a tip jar, donation site, or investment product?
No. BirdieBackers is a marketplace, not a tip jar, donation site, or crowdfunding platform. Subscriptions pay for fixed content and access — not a share of a golfer's winnings, and not a financial return of any kind.
Subscriptions & Pricing
How much does it cost?
Birdie is $10/month, Eagle is $25/month, and Captain is $50/month, per golfer. All billed monthly with no long-term commitment.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your supporter dashboard at any time. You retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Can I support multiple golfers?
Yes. You can hold active subscriptions with as many golfers as you like, at any tier, each billed separately.
What payment methods are accepted?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported on compatible devices.
Where does my money go?
Every charge splits automatically: an 8.99% platform fee, Stripe's payment processing (2.9% + 30¢), and the rest direct to the golfer's bank account monthly. On a $25/month subscription, that's $21.72 to the golfer.
What If a Golfer Doesn't Deliver
What happens if a golfer misses a month of content?
Their payout for that period is held, not lost. If they catch up, it releases normally.
What if it stays uncured?
If a golfer's missed deliverables stay uncured for 60 days, every supporter subscribed during that period is refunded for it. See our Refund Policy for the full details.
Are subscriptions refunded for any other reason?
Refunds under our policy are tied specifically to undelivered content, not to a golfer's competitive results — nothing about a subscription is a prediction of how a golfer will perform.
For Golfers
How do I join as a golfer?
Create an account, select 'golfer' as your role, and complete your profile. All golfer profiles are reviewed by our team before going live. Typically takes 24–48 hours.
Is there a fee to list my profile?
No upfront fee, ever. BirdieBackers takes an 8.99% platform fee from subscription revenue you actually earn — nothing before that.
Is this exclusive?
No. Joining is non-exclusive — keep any other sponsor, NIL deal, or platform relationship you already have.
