Golfer Terms

1. Free to join, non-exclusive

There is no cost to apply or list your profile, ever. We only take a platform fee from subscription revenue you actually earn. Joining BirdieBackers is non-exclusive: you may keep any other sponsorship, NIL deal, or platform relationship you already have.

2. Identity verification

Before receiving payouts, you must complete identity verification through Stripe Express, including any information required for tax reporting (1099-NEC) and, where applicable, NCAA/NAIA NIL or USGA amateur-status compliance checks.

3. Fixed deliverables per tier

Every tier you offer (Birdie, Eagle, Captain) carries a fixed, platform-wide minimum set of deliverables — the same baseline required of every golfer, described on our For Golfers and For Supporters pages. You commit to meeting those minimums for every active subscriber at that tier.

At minimum: 4 pieces of supporter-only content per month at every tier. Eagle adds a quarterly group hangout. Captain adds a welcome video within 30 days of a new subscriber and a birthday video each year.

4. Marking deliverables complete

Each month, you mark your deliverables complete in your golfer dashboard, and an admin verifies before that month's payout releases. Provide accurate, good-faith records — falsely marking undelivered content as complete is grounds for removal from the platform.

5. Missed deliverables — hold and cure

If you miss a month's deliverables for a given tier, the payout for that period is held, not forfeited. If you deliver the missed content afterward, the held payout releases normally. If a miss stays uncured for 60 days, affected supporters are refunded for that period and the corresponding payout does not release to you. 6. Payouts and fees

Payouts are made monthly, directly to your linked bank account via Stripe. Our platform fee is 8.99% of subscription revenue; Stripe's payment processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ per charge) is deducted separately before the remainder reaches you. We do not take any percentage of tournament winnings.

7. Content ownership and moderation

You retain ownership of everything you post. Supporter spaces are moderated for positivity — see our Content Policy for the standards that apply to your posts, comments, and hangouts.

8. Removal from the platform

We may suspend or remove your profile for repeated missed deliverables, violations of our Content Policy, fraudulent verification information, or conduct that harms supporters or the platform. Removal does not retroactively refund payouts you've already legitimately earned.
